Mission Statement

Growing one another to live as worshipful disciples of Jesus every day

Core Values

Everyone plays - Church is like little-league; everyone plays! We believe that everyone has their unique call. Each member of our church family has been gifted by God with specific talents and abilities to serve His kingdom. Your contribution matters and is essential to our community.

Uncommon Care - We believe that everyone deserves care and everyone extends care. At Harvest Church, we are committed to caring for one another in extraordinary ways, creating a supportive community where love flows freely.

Beliefs

The Holy Scriptures - We believe the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all Christian faith and life, completely trustworthy, without error in the original writings, and sufficient for all matters of faith and conduct.

The triune God - We believe in one God, eternally existing in three coequal Persons: Father, Son (Jesus the Christ), and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, infinite in power, knowledge, and love, and is holy and just.

Jesus the Christ - We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became truly man without ceasing to be truly God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a sacrifice for sins. He was physically resurrected and ascended to the Father.

The Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, coequal with the Father and the Son, who indwells all believers at salvation. His ministry is to glorify Christ, convict the world of sin, and empower believers for holiness and service.

Humanity and sin - We believe that man was created by God in His image, but through Adam's sin, all humanity inherited a sinful nature and became separated from God. All are sinners by nature and choice, deserving judgment, unable to save themselves.

Salvation - We believe salvation is a gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Justification declares the believer righteous; sanctification is the lifelong process of becoming more like Christ.

The return of Christ - 'Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.' We hold fast to the promise of Christ's personal, bodily return (Matthew 24:44).

The day of the Lord - 'For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night' (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11). We live in watchful anticipation of His coming.

The resurrection - We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the saved to eternal life with God and the unsaved to eternal separation from God.
